It's truck day!!

I woke up this afternoon, started reading the news and found out that today is Truck Day at Fenway park! I do confess that I feel a little more anticipation for the upcoming baseball season. maybe it's because of Dice-K, maybe it's because the Bruins have sucked Zamboni ice all winter. I don't know but I can't wait for opening day this year. The Red Sox will be in Atlanta again this year (June 18,19 & 20). As soon as single game tickets go on sale I'll be buying 5 tickets for the family for each game. Turner Field is a great place to see a ballgame. If you don't believe me then ask Mike Penny. If anyone is interested in a Red Sox road trip, let me know. New manager Gabe Kapler is only 1.5 hours away in Greenville, SC. The park is supposed to have the dimensions as Fenway Park. Go Sox!!

Spring has sprung!

Spring is definitely here.... looking around the estate I found some of the fruits of our bulb planting labors last fall.

I did it!!

I spent most of yesterday driving around town and truckin' down the highway to drop the kids off with their father, but before I did I was messing around with the ol' iTunes and I believe I have made the absolute best driving CD. I won't tell you what's on it because if you email me (newcastle74@sc.rr.com) your address I will send you a copy and you can judge for yourself! I will say that it's a little bit country & a little bit rock & roll........ ooohhh the anticipation builds!
