Memorial Day Weekend Garden Update

Here's a quick garden update for the weekend. As you can see beans and zucchini are going crazy! In fact the second picture is of the first tiny zucchini growing. In about a month we'll have more summer squash than you can shake a twig at! Everything else has been OK. The onions have been blown over a bit by some windy weather. The garlic took a bit of a hit too but it looks OK. The brussel sprouts have been eaten by bugs so I pulled them out. The cauliflower, pumpkins, tomatoes & peppers all are slowly growing. The first planting of beets didn't really sprout but I planted another row 2 weeks ago and there sprouting at last! I hope everything is growing in your garden!

Bubble bubble toil and trouble!

It's a little tough to see, but if you look inside you can see a huge bubble forming on the mead. It was about 6 inches across before it popped! I don't know how or why it formed but 1 month into the fermentation, everything look great!

Free address stamp

Here's a quick freebee I found on the web. Get a free self inking address stamp for just the price of shipping ($3.79). I've already ordered one and it works great and I just ordered a second so it's not a one time offer. Order as many as you need!
